Where it comes from

The sun disc — a circle with its center marked. It writes rꜥ, the sun and the sun-god Ra, and silently classifies days, hours, and everything the sun governs. In Akhenaten’s city the same disc, as jtn, became the whole of god.

How to remember it

The sun needs one circle — the simplest drawing of the most worshipped thing in Egypt. When time or divinity enters a word, the disc rises at its end.
