Where it comes from

A papyrus roll, tied shut and sealed — a book closed on its contents. Silent: it classifies abstractions — know, think, plan, truth, annihilation — everything real that has no shape to draw. What cannot be pictured is filed as written.

How to remember it

An idea lives in a closed book: the scribes’ own admission that some things exist only on paper. When a word wears the tied roll, the thing it names is thinkable, not touchable.
