Where it comes from
A senet game board seen edge-on, its pieces standing in a row. It writes mn — “to remain, be firm, endure” — and sits inside two of the biggest names in Egypt: the god Amun (Jmn) and every king called Men-something, from Menes on down.
How to remember it
The board holds its pieces steady in their squares — mn, firmly placed. A game that lasted three thousand years is a fair picture for “endure.”

“The Enduring One” — the same name tradition gives Egypt’s first king. The sign is taught in 101’s chapter 07.
