Where it comes from
A block throne in profile — the squared seat of gods and kings. It writes st, “seat, place”: where someone belongs is their s,t. And it is the first sign of Wsjr, Osiris — throne, then eye — the god whose name begins with where he sits.
How to remember it
The throne fixes a place: to have a seat is to have a station in the world. When the tale says the prince is “in his place,” the throne-sign is the place.
