Drills — the Akkadian signs, three ways

Every sign Cuneiform 103 teaches — new signs and veterans with their Akkadian readings — as cards: click one, answer out loud (or on paper — better), then unfold and check. Each sign comes three ways — read it, write it, what does it mean — and the deck is interleaved so neighboring cards never come from the same chapter. This shelf drills only Akkadian: the Sumerian signs keep their own deck, and the two never mix.

To drill on paper, open a cut below and print it: the cards become cut-out slips, ready for a shoebox Leitner system.

The deck

The deck lies face-down: every tile below holds all the cards, each in a different order. The marked tile is today’s deal. Sitting down for a real session? Pick any tile — the ones you have already worked through fade.
